The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has further relaxed its visa-on-arrival rules for Indian nationals by including visas from six additional countries in its eligibility criteria. Expanded Eligibility for Visa-on-Arrival
Previously, Indian nationals were eligible for a visa-on-arrival in the UAE only if they held a valid visa or residence permit from specific countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Schengen nations. Under the new rules, visas from six more countries have been added to the list, making it more convenient for Indian travelers.

- Thailand
- Panama
- Kazakhstan

Visa-on-Arrival Process
Indian nationals who meet the eligibility criteria can receive a 14-day visa-on-arrival upon reaching UAE airports. The visa can also be extended for an additional 14 days under the UAE’s immigration regulations.
Impact of the Policy Change
