Northern Inland NSW DAMA occupation list has been updated with added requirements.
Regional Development Australia Northern Inland – Designated Area Migration Agreement (RDANI DAMA) has published the occupation list for 2022 with 69 occupations.
The program is open for offshore candidates in most occupations. Work experience is now a requirement of 34 occupations. However, the minimum duration of that has not yet been clarified by the NSW Government. This should occur on 10 January 2022.
The new occupation list is for the candidates applying under Stream 2 (Recently completed study in regional NSW) and Stream 3 (Skilled in an Occupation Required in Regional NSW).
For applying under Stream 1, (Living and working in regional NSW), the applicants must refer to the combined occupation list.
According to RDANI, “The skilled occupations for each region will be different, so it is important that you check that your occupation is currently being accepted for our region. This list is updated regularly and sometimes needs to be changed without notice. Therefore, your occupation must be on this list when you submit your application.”

“It is important that the skilled occupation on your application to the Northern Inland matches the occupation that is entered into SkillSelect. If these do not match, you cannot be nominated to apply from the NSW Government.”
